Manor Park Sidewalk Update
This past week, we were proud to endorse a joint delegation to the City of Ottawa’s Public Works & Infrastructure Committee in support of including sidewalks in the Manor Park road renewal project. The staff plan is a positive step forward—not just for Manor Park, but for the continued expansion of a safe, connected pedestrian network across the city.
The committee meeting featured many strong delegations speaking up for sidewalks on local roads. You can watch our delegation, along with others advocating for safer, more walkable neighbourhoods, at the link below.
Call to Action:
Tell your City Councillor to support the City staff report and policies that build more sidewalks when it goes to City Council on Wednesday, April 8.
Adding sidewalks saves lives, improves accessibility, and helps create healthier, more connected communities for everyone.
